Day 3: Preparing to meet Lola

We went to bed about 1am last night and woke up at 6:15 this morning. We got a solid five hours of sleep so we are feeling rested. We started the morning out by showering and making a run to Starbucks to plan out what we were going to do for the day. Casey had a mocha and I ventured out and got a green tea latte. It was pretty tasty if I do say so myself. Casey thought it was disgusting.

We then spent a good hour trying to locate SWS, which is our agency and where we will go to meet our translator before heading out to Lola's foster home. The map we had was not the best and we couldn't get any type of maps to work on our phones. Eventually a nice old man that was a security guard came out of his little office and escorted us to SWS. We had apparently been doing circles and the map was not very accurate. After locating the building we decided to head over to the COEX shopping mall, which was about 1.2 miles away. We stopped at Dunkin' Donuts along the way and got a spicy chicken burrito and an Egg McMuffin type thing. I promise we will get more adventurous with our food soon. My stomach is still recuperating from yesterday's flight.
Nothing was open in the mall so we walked around until a few stores finally opened. Casey has decided he wants to get a custom suit here because they are so inexpensive and he only buys clothes once every three years, so we figure it's time.
We also got a portable battery pack because trying to find our way around here is killing my battery.

After hiking a good 4 miles around the city we headed back to the room to get the gifts we have prepared for the foster parents, Lola, the workers at SWS, and our translator.

Now we sit at a coffee shop waiting to head to SWS to meet our girl. We are supposed to arrive at SWS at 1:15 PM. I'm guessing we will be at Lola's house about 2:00 PM which will be about 11 PM Paducah time.
We prayed together over our baby girl, asking God to prepare our hearts and Lola's for today's meeting. We ask that you please do the same. Our nerves are setting in.
